Three Year Anniversary!

It seems hard to believe that it has been three years since we made the decision to buy our Italian dream; an abandoned farmhouse in the Apennine Mountains of Piemonte.

Since then so much has happened, a complete re- fit of electrics and plumbing, walls knocked down, walls and floors re-structured, new windows, new doors, new staircase. Floors have been tiled in beautiful handmade terracotta tiles and all walls have been painted, a new kitchen fitted and the five new bathrooms finished with marble surfaces and rainfall showers.

Of course, there is still much to be completed on the outside of the property; landscaping and insulation and completion of the facade, but, all in all, we are nearing the end of the journey and can hope to welcome out first guests this Summer.

It’s been a roller- coaster but we are nearing the end of this part of the journey and looking forward to the next!
